Helga Horner Collection

As the daughter of a fourth generation Austrian furniture maker, it could be said that Helga Horner's career was pre-destined. Her love for furniture design began in her youth and remained her passion even while she completed a degree in business at the Handelsakademie Klagenfurt in Austria.

After graduation, Helga met and fell in love with an American and shortly thereafter, moved to California. In the United States, Helga continued to pursue her passion for furnishings, expanding her education in design and antiques as an antiques dealer. Her experience in the field led her to a position with a renowned interior design and furniture company, with whom she worked for more than a decade.

15 years ago, Helga started her own antiques and design consultation business. Her success as a designer and business woman has led her to many notable projects including the Les Mars Hotel. Consulting work to projects such as the restoration of the Sheraton Palace Hotel have been very gratifying. Working as a consultant to Ann Getty has afforded her the pleasure of working with one of the best collections of 18th Century English Furniture in the US.
