Design
Avoiding a signature look, Helga's work reveals itself slowly by her attention to every detail. Use of varied pieces, both antique and contemporary give her interiors a feeling of lightness. Books are a necessity, the choice of fabrics give a room style and movement, and every room should hold one element of surprise. It's that unexpected something that becomes the memorable object within.
Recently her design projects include several Wine Country Estates, a historic Estate in Montecito, a Horse Ranch in Montana, and a Mediterranean Villa in Palm Springs. Most of those projects remain out of the public eye due to client privacy requests, however her work can be seen at the lovely Relais and Chateau Hotel, Les Mars Hotel in Healdsburg, Ca.
