	Antiques In addition to her passion for furnishings, Helga appreciates the quality and sophistication of antiques from France, England and Italy, especially of the 17th through early 19h centuries. She has become an expert in this field in being able to ascertain to some certainty if a piece is a true antique or a piece made up of antique elements at a later than period date. This specialized knowledge benefits clients when shopping for and purchasing antique furniture. Helga has provided consulting services to such clients as an architectural firm in charge of restoration of the Sheraton Palace Hotel, as well as the noted collector, Ann Getty. Her interior designs are reflective of her love of beautiful and rare antique pieces. Helga believes in using, restoring or remodeling existing antiques or pieces of client's own furniture.
